Evening, everyone.Not meaning to post twice in a row about things not pertaining to the 100K Challenge, I just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention that Saturday (May 2nd) is Free Comic Book Day.
Why exactly am I bothering everyone with this?
Well, two reasons really. First and foremost, there will be free comics! Not just any free comics, but comics that have to do with video games. There will be at least a World of Warcraft comic and Gears of War comic there (those or the only two I've seen first hand thus far). Secondly, and this is a bit of a selfish plug, I'll be on hand signing copies of my new comic, The Comic Quest Showcase. I'll be there from 10am-1pm. If you stop by and say you read about the event from this blog, I'll even do a free sketch for you!
So, come on our for all the good fun stuff and free comics!

is free comic book day universal or what? because i saw something posted on a sign over at book broker when i went to grab Overlord (360) the other night.
ReplyDeleteYeah. It's celebrated at over 2000 comic shops across the world. I tend to stray away from Book Broker for it since they don't really do anything major.
