in other blog related news, the chart has also received its weekly update as well as addition of the new "player". the website is now reflected accordingly. i am sorry to say that i have given her the pink color, which was complete and total coincidence. i actually have a list of the color available for the corresponding top "Ten" list that appears on our site. pink just happened to be the next color on the list. oddly enough, purple is following that, so she would have needed to be added two people from now to have a more "gender neutral" color. the full roster is (in order): blue, black, green, yellow, pink, purple, red, teal, white, orange. i'm not sure how well white will turn out, but will see when we actually have to deal with that. you will notice the use of ten colors. after all the colors are assigned, a second Xbox 360 chart will be added (through the use of arcane alchemeic methods) and we will start from the top of the list again on the new chart. the ten person limit is to kind of keep the chart from look a hot mess. there was also a pesky issue in which the gamercards from MyGamerCard.net were not opening to my liking. by my liking, i of course mean opening a new window when click upon. this to has been corrected.
great news for all things XBLArcadey, the creators of Toy Soldiers have announced some sort of bonus for XBLive members who link their existing accounts with their Facebook account. for anybody who has played Toy Soldiers, you will note there is a link following the progress of the Facebook war. the "war", as it were, is an app that lets you side with a team, and then earn money for wartime efforts in the form of a puzzle platformer. i think it a great little addition, and while i am not one for Facebook apps, i will say that i rather enjoyed it. plus it does not require you constantly maintain something Farmville or apps of that nature. there is even mention of some sort of "bonus" for the 360 for people who link their profiles together. it's free, it's easy, it's little, it's yellow it's different. you can read more about it on the Match Defense page.
Welcome to the party, baddreamgirl. Thanks for joining the festivities.
